Good morning, I am doing some family history research. Looking for information on James Nertney. He was my Grandfather on my Moms side. Also on my Moms side, my Grandmother family are also form Ireland their last name is Connelly.

Also would like to find info on my Dads side: Last name of Grimes. Also on my Dads side, my Grandmother family is also from Ireland their last name is Fanning-they were from the Five Mile Hose area. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It does seem that all ancestry roads lead to Ireland,

    Would you be able to provide more specific information? Full names, approx dates of birth, death, marriage? Places? Where they emigrated to, if they emigrated?

    Was James Nertney married to a Connelly? If so, her name?

  • Good morning, Yes, I have some more info on my Grandparents-see below.
    I wish I new a proper outline form to present the info. I will do my best to organize it in a way that seems uncomplicated. I'm really somewhat new to all this. If there is a better way please let me know. I am happy to learn. I find it gets somewhat confusing when the names get reused generation to generation, and when the spellings are transcribed differently. I hope this helps. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
