Visiting Ireland in October and searching for family.
I have located a man named William Hugh McQuiston who was born in Northern Ireland sometime around 1800. He moved to the USA and died sometime between 1860-1890.
Does anyone have any information on the McQuiston family?
I would greatly appreciate the help and look forward to meeting family!

The name McQuiston is not a common name. There were 118 people with the surname McQuiston in the 1901 census and 98 of them were in Co. Antrim. There were 8 in Co. Derry and 6 in Co. Down and a few others in Tyrone and Dublin. Except for Co. Dublin all of these counties are in Northern Ireland.
