Hoping for some assistance in finding the parents of my 2nd Great Grandfather Patrick Hynes b okrn 1804 in Galway.
I have no other information apart from his marriage to Mary Brennan in Galway approx 1842.
All information preceding his immigration to Victoria Australia is limited.
No birthplace other than county Galway. His marriage to Mary Brennan and his Death in 1875.
If anyone can assist I would greatly appreciate it as I am visiting Ireland next year to view the places ancestors once lived.

Thank you so much Miriam. There are 2 more children. John Hynes who was my great Grandfather and married Ellen Mcguiness and a sister Mary.
I'm resigned to not seeing a marriage certificate online, but at least now I have a town to search in. Fantastic help!
