Bridget Schean's (Sheehan) mother immigrated to the United states from Ireland in the early 1800's. Have not been able to find any other information. Bridget Schean was my mothers maternal grandmother.

Both surname and last name are very common names in Ireland , do you know where she lived , emigrated to or when she died? If you are able to obtain any record abroad about her it might give you a better idea .
A marriage registration for example might give her parents name of even her place of birth, this way we can narrow down the search.
