Looking for the birthplace and parents of John Joseph (or Joseph John) Graham and Amelia Keene/Kane. Both were born "in Ireland" and that is all I know about their origins.
Their son: William Irvin Graham, b. 1872 in Milwaukee - unusual second name.
Daughter: Maude Agnes Graham, b. 1880 in Milwaukee, and her twin (unnamed) who died at birth.
Joseph himself was born about 1819-20, and by 1870 he was living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his wife Amelia. His job was listed as "sailor". In 1880 he was a plumber, and that's the last I know of him.
I don't have John Joseph or son William Irvin's death date. The daughter, Maude Agnes Graham married a Fred Walraff in Milwaukee and died 1905.
Amelia Keene/Kane was born about 1844. By 1870 she had married Joseph/John and they lived in Milwaukee. Living with them as members of their household in that year were a "Mary Carmondy", born in Ireland about 1846-7, who had a son William born in 1869 in Wisconsin. I wonder if this could be Amelia's sister. I have tried to trace all of them back, but no luck yet. I can't trace Mary Carmondy/Carmody after this either.
Amelia Keene died in Milwaukee in 1892.
William Irvin Graham, their son, married a Tillie Breum in Milwaukee in 1895. The marriage document is Catholic. Their children were given the names Agnes (1896), Joseph L (1897), William Clarence (1899), and Amelia M (1902). They were all born in Milwaukee.

Do you have any information pertaining to thier emigration/naturalization which may assist you with establishing a place of origin for them in Ireland? Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g. Liverpool, New York, New Orleans etc.), this could be a good place to find more information.
