Here's the 1901 Irish census showing the McDonnells.  Note that Elizabeth is said to be born in 1888.  I believe your Elizabeth is probably the same person as the daughter Mary born in 1888 and for whom there is a civil birth cert.

I just callend my mother Elizabeth (Fogarty) Kelley and yes this could be my Grandmother. My mother said that she believes her mother's birth name may have been  Mary Elizabeth McDonnell.  and changed it to Elizabeth as she grew older. This solves the question. Thank-you
