My great grandmother left Tipperary and emigrated around the age of 20 circa 1884, leaving behind siblings Elizabeth Anne Redmond born 3/1/1866 and Francis (jnr) Redmond 4/3/1869. I'm interested in contacting any remaining members of the family. Also, I've been unable to find the birth record of my great grandmother -Mary Francis Redmond-Any suggestions welcome.

Civil registration of births started in 1864. I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and found a November 29 1863 baptismal record for a Mary Redmond with father Francis Redmond and mother Margaret Reed. The baptism was in the Templemore RC church. There were nine children that I can locate Joseph 1861 Mary 1863 Elizabeth 1866 John 1867 Francis 1869 James 1871 Mark 1874 Daniel 1876 Frederick 1878
Francis Redmond and Margaret Reed were married October 16 1858 in Templemore Witnesses William Peacock and Mary Reed
