Going to County Clare on May 28th. Looking for information on the Melicans: Patrick (1764-1865) -> Denis (1887-1864) -> Patrick (1819-1905) -> Daniel Joseph (1864-1918) and their wives: unknown, Margaret Hogan, Margaret Meehan, Bridget McMahan.

    Thank you for your update to the message board.  We have been in contact previously.  I would highly recommend that you go to the Local Studies Centre in Ennis when you are in Clare as they have a number of resources that will assist you and the two librarians there are most helpful.  As you are aware, there is a Melican family group of researchers and the librarians will have contact details, and other information.
