I am trying to trace Owen Schruffen, the father of John Shruffen who was born in about 1819 in Ireland.
John moved to Liverpool where he married, and in about the mid-1850s the family changed their name from Shruffen to Sutton.
Do these names sound famikiar to anyone?

I was aware of some of these - infortunately, the first names do not match what I am expecting.
However, I will niw explore the different variations of the surname you have highlighted.
