I am seeking information on the Sly/Slye family living in Monageer in the 19thC. A family appeared to live on a farm which may have been in a road still existing to day and appears to be a dead end road leaving the main street near the Monageer Tavern. An Edward Sly died in 1875 and left the property (according to his will) to his nephew, Johns Williamson.
Does anyone know this town and possible history regarding the Sly family. I wonder if the farm still exists today?
