Seeking help in tracing details of Patrick Cleary who married Mary Ruane in about 1855. Do know that they had 5 children incl Mary (born 1857), Bridget (born 1863). These details were obtained through Kilbeacanty Parish but there does not seem to be any info re their marriage or deaths. Mary and Bridget arrived in Australia in 1880. They sailed from Plymouth I believe. Might the family have moved to England? Lots of questions but few answers at this point. Appreciate any help. Thank you

Civil registration began in Ireland in 1864. You may want to search www.familysearch.org to look for any birth, marriage or death index records for the Cleary family. They would have been in the Gort registration district. If you locate a "good" lead, you can then write to the GRO www.groireland.ie for a copy of the record.
