Monumental inscription found from Townhill, Portglenone reads:
In loving memory of John Stewart, Gortaherin who died 20 Jan 1892 age 45. His mother Jane McIlroy died 8 Oct 1906 age 89. His wife Lizzie Stewart died 16 Apr 1916 age 66. Also daughter in law Lavinia died 3 Jan 1927 age 41 and Granddaugher Isabella died 9 June 1927 1 year. Granddaughter Jennie died 21 June 1931 age 19 and grand daughter Lizzie died 4 Nov 1932 age 22.
Lavinia McGaughey married into the family 23 Oct 1909. Not sure of her husband's name.
