In the Valuation Revision Books for Townland Killylea, Village of Killylea, there is a listing for Thomas Anderson (Master), Occupier (map reference 29), first appearing as an 1882 revision. The description of the property was changed in the revision from 'Ruins' to 'Orange Hall'. His name was crossed through in the 1886 revision, replaced by the word 'vacant'. I'm assuming the listing relates to the Orange Order and am wondering if there are any records with details of Orange Order Masters in the 1880s in County Armagh.
Any information or advice on the above would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Paul,
You could contact the Orange Order’s HQ in Belfast to see if they can help:

At the risk of stating something obvious, the Orange Hall was just a meeting place, There would not have been any residential accommodation with it and so your ancestor would have lived somewhere else in that area.

Elwyn,
I contacted the Orange Order as you suggested and received a quick response confirming Thomas Anderson as "the worshipful master of Tannagh Hill LOL 6 which met in Killylea". The reply continued - "Killylea Orange Hall was erected in 1883. However, at this time the Worshipful Master of LOL 6 was Joseph Anderson. Is it possible he is a relative of Thomas?"
All in all, a positive response that also opens up another area of enquiry.
My thanks again Elwyn for your most helpful advice.
