Maria Mary Bradshaw was born in about 1799. Their daughter Elizabeth Ryan https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/L144-781 was born on 16-6-1828 in County Tipperary. Elizabeth Ryan married Thomas Caples https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/L14W-BRG in about 1850 in Tipperary. Thomas Caples was born in 1817 in County Waterford, Ireland. They emigrated to South Africa and settled in Grahamstown. Thomas Caples was a Wood Turner by Trade. Thomas Caples died from Liver Cancer on 26-9-1902 and was buried at the Catholic Cemetery in Grahamstown on 28-09-1902. Elizabeth Ryan died on 25-11-1903 from a Cerebral Haemorrhage and was buried at the Catholic Cemetery in Grahamstown on 26-11-1903. They had 4 children.

I'm looking for information on Thomas Caples and Elizabeth Ryan for my husband's family tree. I have found the above information but need to verify the Irish family information please. Thanks.

    Hi Patricia. Thanks very much for your reply. I wonder if they got married in Jersey. Their daughter Mary Caples was born in Jersey in 1851. She married in Grahamstown Cape Colony - first to John Kelly Born in Galway in 1834 died in Grahamstown in August 1876, and then to Alfred Edward Bailey born about 1851 in Hampshire - died in about 1903 in Grahamstown Cape Colony SA.
