 Hello,

Looking for records/graves of Thomas FitzPatrick, his wife, Martha Connolly FitzPatrick B.@ 1842 D. 1915 Carn, Latnamard, Monaghan.       We think they would be in St. Mary's, Latnamard, Smithboro, Co Monaghan H18 F681 as we coud not find them at St. Livinus, Killeevan.

Thomas was a teacher, then the headmaster of the Aghabog school for probably 30 or 40 years.

Of their 8 children 6 went to Scotland, Patrick stayed and died in Castleblaney in 1947 and our ancestor James B. 1866 D. 1899 Chicago, Illinois US.

If anyone has any information regarding church records or gravestones it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Thank you Patricia.  They were married at Latnamard, Kilmore, Monaghan.  Joseph probably a brother and Anne Jane probably her sister but

    we don't have his siblings or all of hers at this point.

    Was really looking to see if anyone is near St. Mary's to check the graveyard.  We think his father was James (D. Bef. 1865) and his mother was Honor D@ 1874?.

  • Hello Anne,

    If you contact the church, they probably have a burial register.  Not everyone buried in a graveyard has a headstone, so the register would be helpful to consult.  Contact info:
