I am searching for my 4th great grandfather who was born in Donegal, Ireland. I got that information from his death record. I wish I knew for sure where! I think probably in Killea or Clonleigh parishes. Hopefully someone can help me figure it all out! Here is what I know:
Thomas Gurley/Gourley was born on November 28, 1796 possibly 1794 in Donegal, Ireland. His wife, Jane, was born in 1800 in Tyrone, Ireland. I don't know her maiden name. They had 7 children. Most of them were born in Donegal, Ireland. There names are:
Matilda, Eliza Jane, James, Margaret, Susannah (Susan), Thomas Jr. and Marie.
They left from Londonderry on 1836 to immigrate to the United States. Londonderry was where their last child was born just before they immigrated. She is my great great great grandmother! If anyone can help me find them and learn anything more about them, I will be forever in your debt! I have been searching for them for many years with no luck.

Unfortnately Donegal records do not realy start till 1803 and in Killea they did not start till 1877, have you tried to connect to our Donegal message board here on this site, local volunteers might be able to advise
