Hello! I am looking for information about my great-great-grandfather who was born @1818 and may have immigrated to New York City @1850. I have no idea if he was from Tyrrellspass but that is the location my family always mentioned. His parents may have been Edward Tyrrell and Jane____. Thomas may have had a sister, Catherine, but I don't actually know of any siblings.
Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello again!
As I mentioned in the response to your Byrnes message, I did not find a marriage record for Thomas Tyrrell and Bridget Byrns. I also did not find a baptismal record for Thomas with parents Edward and Jane. In fact, I did not find any baptismal records for children of Edward and Jane. I also searched for all Thomas Tyrrell baptismal records without showing the parents names and the earliest record was in 1828. Likely the Tyrrells were from a parish that no longer has records back to around 1818.
You may want to post stories for Thomas Tyrrell and Bridget Byrns to our XO Chronicles site and possibly someone will see a connection. https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-dat…
Have you considered DNA testing?
