Searching for any information on Daniel Toman. His son Charles Toman (born in 1843) married Mary Kelly (born 1849) on Dec 5, 1868. I believe Mary's fathers name to be James Kelly. I have been able to trace my family this far. If you have any inforamtion that would help, I would love to know more.

Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Have you tired looking for Daniel in church records? You may be able to find marriage records/birth baptismal records in the Ballyhalbert parish records. The search for these records will be much easier if you have some idea of the dates that they occured at.
Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which may be of help is the irishtimes. Here, they give you an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. Ballyhalbert civil parish is part of Ballyphillip Roman Catholic parish. To see what records are available follow this link:
For Church of Ireland records check:
http://ireland.anglican.org/about/42 and http://www.nationalarchives.ie/.
You could also search for Daniel in the land records pertaining to Ireland in the 19th century. There are two:
The Tithe Applotment Books (1823-1838) found at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp
and Griffith's Valuation (1848-1864) found at http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/
Some other websites which may be helpful are:
The National Archives of Ireland http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/introduction/
The National Library of Ireland http://www.nli.ie/en/family-history-introduction.aspx
The National Archives UK ? genealogy search: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/
The Public Records Office of Northern Ireland http://www.proni.gov.uk/index/family_history.htm

I hope that this helps.
