TWO Thomas O'Donnell's, each 30 yrs old, arrived in Castle Garden, NY in 1870: Apr. 12 on steamship "Samana" & June 9 on steamship "England"
Thomas' wife Catherine & four children born in Birmingham, England (my grandfather John, Thomas, Margaret, Winifred) arrived in Castle Garden, NY on steamship "Italy" on July 5, 1871.
Thomas first appeared in Baltimore City Directories in 1872.
Thomas died Nov. 25, 1901 in Baltimore MD; buried in New Cathedral Cemetery

Since TUAM is home of Roman Catholic Archbishop, I hope Thomas O'Donnell born c1838 will be found in baptismal records.
