Ward & Coyne

Castleblakeney is in Killosolan parish. I looked up the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Killosolan parish. There was a John Ward listed in Lurgan townland. Possibly, this is your John Ward. Lurgan is five miles east of Castleblakeney town on the R358 road.

In addition, I checked the 1901 census for Lurgan townland and there were three Ward families. Possibly they are connected to your Wards.

I have already researched the documents you list but cannot get a link giving me positive info.  Also checked land records which confirm the above findings; filmed church records do not cover this time period.   I am currently requesting birth & death certificates.  Sure wish there is a long lost relative or neighbor still residing in the area.
