WARD. My Mother, Uncle and grandparents lived in Parteen around 1925-1940. Their names were Annie, Hugh ,Grace and James Ward. Is there a census or documents that could tell me where they lived in Parteen as I would like to see the former family home. I know that Hugh Ward worked at the Ardnacrusha power plant. Thank you all.

Irish Civil Registration www.irishgenealogy.ie records a marriage of a Hugh Ward in Parteen RC Church on February 2nd 1938. His address is given as Shanakyle, Limerick
which is across the Shannon river from County Clare. I did not find Shanakyle on the current map for Limerick, but there is a "Shannon Fields" which may be another name for the area. Hugh's father is also named "Hugh" in the record.

my grandfather was Hugh Ward who worked at ESB Ardnacrusha his family lived in shanakyle co Clare it’s near pattern co Clare . I don’t know what house they lived in but I could my Aunt.
