My ancestors from Wicklow came from Killaveny Roman Catholic parish, which seems to be somewhere near the border of Wexford and Wicklow. I think from parish registers that they lived in the townland of Clone. Does anyone know what civil parish they would have lived in?
Many thanks

Hi Alicia!
The civil parish for Clone is Kilpipe. Kilpipe is in southern Wicklow on the border of Wexford and the RC parish as you indicated is Killavney. There are a couple sites which allow you to search for townlands. I use http://www.thecore.com/seanruad/index.html since I'm affiliated with the Leitrim-Roscommon genealogy web site where the Sean Ruad site is maintained. FYI my 1901 census site is also on this site. www.leitrim-roscommon.com/1901census
