Can anyone tell me where Bobeen, Mayo was or is found in county Mayo. The time period I'm researching for Bobeen, Mayo is 1789. The list of present day towns and villages of Mayo lists nothing close to this name. Any direction would be appreciated.
I think you are looking for Robeen which is a civil parish in south Co. Mayo near Ballinrobe. There is also a townland within the parish called Robeen. See the link below for a little more background.
