Hi There, a few months ago,  I inquired about William Dick (Born 1795) and his wife Esther Taylor with family, from Tyrone County, who migrated to Australia on the Royal Saxon on February 1835.    Recenty I had received information from a family history centre of where my wife's 3rd great grandfather had lived stating that his younger brother was transported to Australia as a convict and arrived iin Sydney on the  24th March 1818 on the ship Martha.  William's younger brother name was Samuel Dick (born 1793) and was convicted in Antrim.

Of reading the coroners report of Samuel Dick from the old Newspapers, it states that William and Samuel had two other brothers and a sister living near Cookstown at the time.  It also stated that their sister was living at a lunatic asylum and they were protestants.   Samuel Dick died in 1846

It was also revealed that William was born in 1774 and not 1795 according other documents that I received.

Would it be possible with the information I have supplied could this be checked up please

Thanks and regard

Colin
