I assume both were Catholic? If so, I would expect her to have been Larkin after marriage, and for her death.

There is a custom in Scotland (continued by Scots Presbyterians who settled in Ireland) for a married woman to sometimes be known by her maiden name, and that sometimes appears on her gravestone, but it’s not otherwise widespread in Ireland.

Are you in the USA?

I had trouble finding woman information until I just by chance searched by the maiden name. Her death was in her maiden name incorrectly entered.
I find that they use their married name in Ireland, may be now they don't!

Thank you. Yes they were Catholic.  I have been trying to search for parishes around Ferbane where they were from but so far no luck. 
the name I am looking for is Mary Larkin née Cantwell.  However I have found her marriage and she is named as Catherine.
