I am searching for the family of my Great Grandfather THOMAS WALKER, born in 1812. I believe he was born and baptised in Aghalee, County Antrim, Ireland. I found on the webb under Ireland, Births and Baptisms, 1620-1911 a record of baptism for Thomas Walker. baptism 6 June 1813. Father's name was Thomas Walker. Mother's name Margaret M'Camley. According to written records by my Grandfather Robert Harrison Walker, Thomas, his father, was in the British Military. Thomas emmigrated to the United States, departing Belfast in 1836 aboard the Sarah Sheiffe, arriving in New York City, USA on May 31, 1836. Since Harrison was passed down as a middle name I feel that this may have been a family name also. I have been unable to find any links to the Walker family or the M'Camley family and would be so gratefull for any information. My e-mail is fm_grimm@yahoo.com
