I am researching my family who were in griffiths valuation in Lisrodden near Portglenone Antrim and some are buried at the CoI cemetery, part of the next generation moved to Bundoran Donegal and ran a grocery store in the late 1800s. This would be Robert Jr my GG Uncle and his son. My GG grandfather Joseph and his son Joseph are buried with them at St Anne's CoI cemetery in Ballyshannon. Both families were listed as Presbyterian. I am looking for anything on Joseph's family who started off in Antrim and in particular his son John who was my G grandfather. He left Ireland in the 1870s and came to Canada via England. Any info would be great since I have exhausted the on line sources.

Good morning
I have left a message recently as I am also looking for Renison family in Ireland (Tipperary). There may be no connection whatsoever but as you are the first other person I have known to be looking for this family surname in Ireland and it is not a common Irish name (I believe), there is a remote chance there is a connection. Unfortunately being in South Africa without financial resources to do extensive research, I have been unable to find any connections in Ireland as yet. The names I am interested in are William Robert Renison b. 1840, Benjamin Joseph Renison b. 1835 and Jane Renison born abt 1841. They all came to South Africa between the years 1850 - 1859.
