I am searching for my ancestors and living relatives of George and Elizabeth Andrews born about 1880 in the Belfast area, possibly Cavan,

George and Elizabeth were my Great Grandparents, Elizabeth died in the 1950's in Belfast, George was unseen after 1922, they had 5 children, George born 1906 and died at age7, David born 1908, immigrated to Canada 1929, Annie immigrated to Canada either during or after WW2, James and Elizabeth (Betty)

My Grandfather was David, he told us very little about his life in Ireland. My Grandfather lived with other families when his older brother was sick, we only just learned of the older brother George.

The children were baptized at St Brigid's Catholic Church, they lived on Eglantine Ave for a time.

I cannot find anything of George senior after 1922, no records at all, I cannot find Betty, and I cannot find James' children, that I suspect may have immigrated to England at some point.

James and his wife lived at 95 Botanic Gardens.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated as I am at a stand still with my research.

You mentioned that you cannot find any records of some of the family after 1922. Births, deaths & marriages in Northern Ireland from 1922 onwards are not on-line anywhere and you need to contact GRONI in Belfast to search the years 1922 ? 2013.

This might be the mother Elizabeth and son George in the 1911 census:

Possible marriage for George H Andrews was to Elizabeth Smyth, regd Belfast Oct ? Dec 1903 Volume 1, page 559.

Possible birth for George Andrews, regd Belfast Oct ? Dec 1906 Vol 1, page 262.

Possible death for George Henry Andrews regd Belfast Oct ? Dec 1914 Vol 1, Page 185. Burial record for George Henry Andrews reveals he died 11.11.1914 and was buried 13.11.1914. Place of death was the Union Hospital 27 Shipboy St, Belfast. He was buried in public ground in the City Cemetery. (So he was in the hospital attached to the workhouse at the time of his death and sadly he was buried in a paupers grave. An unmarked communal grave in the city cemetery).
