Looking for Ancestors of William McMaster born in 1826 in County of Antrim. He was married to Jane Alexander and came to Canada after marriage -- possibly in 1840's. First child Samuel was born in Ireland and died during the Atlantic crossing. Next child born was in Canada was Margaret Elizabeth born in 1854.
Have no information on Jane Alexander other than she was born in Norther Ireland and I would assume in the same area as her husband -- County of Antrim.

I can?t find any marriage between William McMaster and Jane Alexander in the years 1845 to 1854 anywhere in Ireland. Nearest was William McMaster to Jane Auld on 13.11.1846 in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim.
Birth registration didn?t start till 1864 so it?s hard to search for a child to that couple, or to any McMaster/Alexander couple.
