Any info on my grandparents would be welcome.

Believe they belonged to either Presbyterian or Church of Ireland.

James Gray?s marriage to Sarah Wallace was registered in Ballymoney in July ? Sept 1894 Volume 1, page 195. His father?s name was John Gray. Tradition was to marry in the bride?s church (which will be on the marriage certificate unless it was a registry office marriage). So that?d be the place to look for her baptism and that of any siblings.

  • Thank you for info.  Somewhere I found they were possiby married in Sept Q but now know his father's name was John.  Will chase up marriage details.  Believe my father's brother William Hugh Gray lived in Busmills for some time but haven't done any of my own family research for a while so think I willl have to get going again:  his two sisters Lizzie and Emily lived in London when I was in my early teens.  However he never spone of William or Hessie.
