Charles McQuilkin was born 10 August 1822 in Ballymoney Parish, Antrim, Ireland. His parents were named Archibald McQuilkin and Ellen. Charles had 2 brothers named Archibald born 1812 & James born 1818. If you could offer any assistance to find more information on this family I would appreciate it. I am especially interested in finding more information on the parents.

I had a look at Miller’s census of Ballymoney town (c 1804 – 1810), a list of the Earl of Antrim’s tenants in Ballymoney town in 1814, as well as Rev. Park’s census of Ballymoney parish in 1817 but did not see any McQuilkin households in any of them.
What denomination was your family?

I believe they were Presbyterian.
