I am trying to find information on the Daniel Murray and Mary McDonnell family. Their religion was RC.
Their children were;
Mary born 15/06/1864 in what seems to be 2 Gardiner Ct.
Daniel born 04/08/1867 in Shore Road.
Ellen born 22/10/1870 in 17 Shore Street.
John born 02/11/1871 in 17 Shore Street.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Gus

Gus,
Couple married 30.10.1859 at St Pat’s Befast. Witnesses were Bernard Kelly & Jane Boyle:

I can see 3 more children for the parents:
Daniel baptised 13.6.1862 St Pat’s
Ellen 23.10.1873 Belfast (first Ellen probably died 5.12.1870, aged 0).
William Joseph 29.1.1877 Belfast
I wonder if this is widowed Mary and her son Daniel in the 1901 census:

(Daniel senior was a carpenter. Did his son follow into that trade?) Here’s a death for Daniel a carpenter in Belfast but he doesn’t seem quite old enough:

Hi Elwyn, the Mary and Daniel in the 1901 census seem about correct though Daniels age might be slightly out. Mary's birth place is given as Kings Co, another clue.
Daniels death record is too far out in age and it records his sisters name as Henrietta. I don't think this is the correct Daniel.
I have found a burial record for Mary Murray aged 82 in 28/05/1927 in a grave owned by her son Patrick. Place of death is recorded as 19 North Queen Street. This is likely the Mary who married Daniel Murray in 1859.
Thanks Elwyn.
