Looking for Ireland connection for Daniel, Mary and Catherine Murray. Parents possibly Mary and Daniel from Belfast.
In 1855 the 3 siblings came to U.S. likely through New York going to Waupun, Wisconsin.
Daniel Murray, (1816-1896), lived in Wisconsin and in Kansas.
Mary Murray (1827-1904) married James O'Hearn in in 1857 at Waupun, Wi.
Catherine Murray (Dec. 4, 1831-1907) In 1860, Cathrine married at Fox Lake, WI to Richard Fitzgerald. They moved to his home in Buffalo County, WI.
If naming patterns are helpful, Catherines chilren: Mary, William, Katherine, Richard, John, Jennie, Elizabeth, James, Rose. Mary's Children: Mary, Daniel, John, Catherine, James
I am having trouble locating them in Ireland or finding them on a passenger list.
Thank you for any helpful suggestions.

You don’t say what denomination the family were. You need to know that to search the right set of church records.
For an indication of what life was like in Belfast in the 1830s you could read the OS Memoirs. See:
The Ulster Historical Foundation published these in the 1990s.
You could also read back copies of the Belfast Newsletter which are on-line on Ancestry. They will give you a flavour of what was news in the 1830s.

The family was Catholic. I look forward to reading the sites you referred to me. Thank you for the fast reply. I understand that this organization is working to follow where everyone went. What a great partnership! I will do what I can on my end. Sharon

The RC parish records are on-line free on the National Library site:
http://registers.nli.ie/parishes
Note that although the National Library site has many parish records, it doesn’t have them all. A few are still held by the parish, for one reason or another.
