The townland will be Lisbellanagroagh. There’s 2 of them Beg and More (means Little and Big). I looked in the revaluation records for both townland for the 1890s but there’s no Kennedy household listed. That suggests that either the Kennedys were not there long enough to get recorded by the Griffiths clerks, or that they lodged with someone else or that their house was of too low a value to be recorded by Griffiths.
Can’t see the family in the 1901 census. Had they left Ireland by then?
You could search the National Archives at Kew for information on John Kennedy, pensioner from the East India Company army. (That was a separate military unit from the regular army).
What denominations were the Kennedy and Blair families? Have you searched the local church records? Ballintoy Church of Ireland lost its early records in the 1922 fire but there is a census from 1803. Copy on this site:
There’s about 9 Kennedys on it. 1 Presbyterian and the rest Church of Ireland.
Dunseverick was created out of Billy parish around 1811 and has records from 1832. Toberkeigh Presbyterian has records from 1829 and Croaghmore from 1829. The RC records start in 1872.

I believe his father John had died prior to 1901 as I found record of his mother dying in Port Glasgow Scotland in 1897 were she was marked as a widow. After davids marriage to Sarah they moved to Scotland where they could be found in the 1901 census. They then returned to Ireland where he died in 1908. His death was registered in the Ballycastle area. John's fathers name was Ferguson Kennedy. Both families were Church of Ireland.

There’s a death of a Ferguson Kennedy registered in Ballycastle on 20th May 1871 aged 82. You might want to investigate that.
By coincidence a Ferguson Kennedy aged 0 also died there 18th May 1871. Birth was registered 17th May 1871 so it only lived one day. Mother’s maiden name was Morgan. That seems likely to be a relative and you might want to look at it too.
You can view the original certificates on-line on the GRONI website, using the “search registrations” option:
You will need to open an account and buy some credits. It costs £2 (sterling) to a view a certificate.

Thanks. I believe that John had brothers Samuel, Thomas & Ferguson who all moved to the Greenock area. I believe John moved back to Ireland after his father died to look after his mother and subsequently died. Emily then came back to Scotland where she died. Her daughter Emily Jane was present at time of her death. I am assuming that Emily Jane was born in Ireland after 1871.
