I am looking for my 2nd Great-Grandfather Alexander Marshall Rodgers. Born 1816 I believe in Carnmoney, Antrim, Ireland. His father's name was James (I do not have a mother's name). I know Alexander had a sister by the name of Ellen, she too Came to the US in the 1800's as Alexander did. I believe she was born in 1837. I know he had a niece by the name of Nell O'Donnell and she too came to the US.
I will mention that Alexander named one of his son’s Morgan Fleming, and with alexander's middle name of Marshall. Those names could be family names or maiden names of his mother and grandmother's.
If anyone has any information of knows of this family please contact me.
Thank you.

Hi Criss
There is a record of a birth/baptism of Alexander Rodgers 1811 Antrim on www.rootsireland.ie/ (pay per view site)
The parish is BLARIS C of I; Carmoney was not in the list of parish options which accompany the Antrim records. However the father's name is not James
I assume you are aware of the records on Family Search which has 3 births in Carnmoney and 3 in Ladyhill
There is 1 with father James: christened 28 April 1816
rootsireland has a baptism record of Ellen Rodgers with father James but it is 1855
There are 2 records of birth/baptisms of Alexander with father James: 1879 & 1885
There are no Antrim records on the Tithe Applotments (1823-37) to look at parishes where Rodgers were then!
Better news from ancestry.com - there are 2 public member trees (Michael Rogers & Debra Reynolds owners) which have Alexander born 5 April 1816 father James & mother Elizabeth Sara; James born 26 March 1787 Ireland
rootsireland has a record of James in 1797 & another 1803
