I have found the following information while researching: The Donegore First Presbyterian Church adjacent to Templepatrick Village, Antrim, Ireland shows four children for Thomas Simms and Elizabeth Beggs. All were born when the family was living on the townland of Tardree, which is in the Church borders of the Donegore Church but in the civil District of Connor. They are: Samuel b. 12 May 1837; Agnes b. 20 May 1839; Matthew b. 4 Dec 1841 and Thomas b. 26 Jun 1850.

Simms St Saviour's Cemetery Connor 1872 erected by Thomas Simms Tardree in memory of his beloved wife Elizabeth who departed this life 23rd March 1879 aged 68 years. The above named Thomas Simms, died 7th Dec r 1888, aged 80 years. His daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Elliott, died 22nd July 1876, aged 42 years. Simms Connor New Cemetery 1914 Erected by Samuel Simms in 1914, in memory of his father + mother Thomas + Elizabeth Simms of Tardree interred in the old churchyard ages 80 + 68. His sister Agnes Warwick interred Donegore age 36 years. His brother Matthew in Manitoba (Canada) age 72 years. His brother Thomas died 11th February 1914 age 65 years. Also the above named Samuel Simms died 5th March 1914, aged 81 years.

Matthew Simms was married to Mary Ann Elliott Ireland Marriages, 1619-1898, groom's name: Matthew Simms bride's name: Mary Anne Elliott marriage date: 18 Apr 1868 marriage place: Kilconriola, Antrim, Ireland groom's father's name: Thomas Simms bride's father's name: John Elliott indexing project (batch) number: M70239-6 system origin: Ireland-EASy source film number: 101526.

They had two children. 13 Mar 1870 Thomas SIMMS Civil District Antrim Sub District Templepatrick County Antrim Ireland Births and Baptisms, 1620-1881, name: Mary Ann Simms 10 Mar 1873.

When Mary Anne died Matthew remarried Catherine ERSKINE Church Donegore First Presbyterian Church Parish Donegore Civil District Antrim County Antrim.

The family emigrated to Manitoba Canada abt 1881. I am a descendant. Any additional information from Ireland would be appreciated.
