Researching Glancy and Canon families from Inver Parish.
William Glancy son of Patrick Glancy, farmer, and Rose Canon.
William is my GGGrandfather. Attached is his marriage record from Scotland. Looking for current family connections and for pre-1855 information on the Glancy and Canon families in Inver Parish, Donegal.
Also have some Tithe Applotment info but do not know if I connect to any of these.

I haven't heard of Glancy, could it be Clacy? I don't think there is a Derryhick in Inver. It's worth checking out the Belong to INver Facebook page.

I can try different variations for Glancy. So far I have found family records with Glancy, Glancie and Glancey. Also looking for Canon, Cannon, etc. for Inver Parish. Thanks for the Facebook page tip - Lots of photos! I'll post to see if anyone recognizes the names.

Should have been Derryhirk. Not Derryhick.
