Davie Reekie married Mary Ann Best maybe in Belfast abt 1850. They lived in Belfast after they married but in County Down. Some of the children were christen in Killead Church. I have a picture of the church and those childrens baptisimal records.
There was a child born in Down named Andrew who died 12 Mar 1881 but don't know the parish. The mother Mary Ann Best was said to be born in Rostrevor where ever that might be. Her mother was Jane (Boyd) Best. She lived at Seacash Farm. It is said that her parents were surnamed Shanks.
