My great-grandfather, Denis Melican, immigrated to the United States and arrived in New York City on 20 June 1884 aboard the ship "State of Pennsylvania". He left Ireland from the port of Larne.
I was curious if any authority in Larne maintained immigration records of people leaving Ireland.
