  • You did not give years and the following does not mention the townland you gave, but the names are the same--Wm. Kane/Jane Morrow.

  • William Kane’s marriage to Jane Morrow in 1893:

(The O’ & Mc prefixes in Irish names are detachable and are often dropped or added at whim).

Daughter Elizabeth born August 1901 in Munie:

Family farming in Carnalbanagh in 1911:

I can see births for Agnes 4.6 1911 in Church Town, Robert 21.10.1912 & Charlotte 26.9.1915. There may have been others.

What else would you like to know?

  • Can’t find a  record of this marriage in the Irish marriage records 1870 - 1911. There isn’t a single person named Winduss in the 1901 Irish census.

There are various trees on Ancestry that show this family and all show Jane Morrow as born in New Zealand c 1870, to parents John Morrow and Ellen Hueston who married in Co. Armagh in 1862 and emigrated to NZ in 1863. Here’s their marriage:

They married in Richhill Church of Ireland. Groom was from Mulladry townland and bride from Shewis.
