Lennon/Keenan/Grant Families

William Lennon’s marriage to Lucy Keenan was registered in Armagh city on 4.1.1866.  You can view the original certificates on-line on the GRONI website, using the “search registrations” option:

Stephen Thomas Lennon was born 24.12.1878 at Foley. His father was a schoolmaster.

I think Lucy Lennon died in 1880, aged 40. That death is not on-line free and you would need to pay to view it on the GRONI site given above.

The other siblings names are too common for me to be able to identify them with any certainty in the 1901 census. Even with an exact age and place of birth as Armagh, most bring up multiple choices in the census.

Grant is a very common surname in Co. Armagh. (340 in the 1901 census of the county).  I found 3 Ann(ie) Grant births 1873 – 1882 all in Newry registration area, to parents who were both named Grant, but none were a James and Ann Grant. So can’t trace this family for you. Need a bit more information. Name some of the other children and their approximate years of birth.
