Searcing for the Turvey Family residing in Northern Ireland during the early 1800's Michael was born c. 1798, christened at St. James Parish, Dublin. In 1816 he enlisted in the 98th regiment of Foot at Armagh. The Regiment disbanded 1818 at Fredrickton, New Brunswick. Michael was given a land grant and settled in New Brunswick, Canada. Family stories indicate the Turveys lived in Northern Ireland and belonged to the Church of England.

The Church of England, in Ireland is called the Church of Ireland.
Dublin St James, Church of Ireland baptism records for the years around 1798 are apparently on the irishgenealogy site but I don’t see one for Michael Turvey
Turvey is not a common surname in Ireland. Looking at the 1901 Irish census there were only 3 people of the name in the whole country. 1 lived in Dublin but was born in London. He was RC. The other two lived in Bessbrook, Co Armagh and were born in that county. They were Church of Ireland. There were 3 Tarveys, 1 in Armagh and 2 in Meath. All RC.
So yes there is tenuous evidence of 1 Church of Ireland Turvey family in Armagh in 1901, but I think it’ll be struggle connecting that family back to someone born in 1798 (whose baptism I can’t trace).
DNA testing might be the only way of linking to any family in Ireland.
