I am looking for the famly of my G.G.Grandfather Solomon Rawson who was born in Dublin in c.1824 and arrived in Australia in 1848.
His parents were Thomas Rawson and Mary Ann Boileau, Mary Ann's parents were John Theophilus Boileau and Jane Wilson, and were married in the French Church in Dublin.
Solomon was the second youngest of 12 children, the others were
John Theophilus Jnr., Jane, Martha,Maria(married (Wlliam Duke in 1846) Marianne, John Peter, Magdalena, Thomas, Henrietta, Simeon and Elizabeth.
Boileau and Wilson were druggists of Bride Street Dublin, but does anyone know of the family of Thomas Rawson
Thank you
Valerie Wilson

Hi Valerie,
Thank you very much for your message. I hope that someone with information makes a connection with you and helps you to further your research on Thomas.
In the meantime, did you know that church records from Dublin City have been uploaded free of charge to :http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/
If Thomas was born in the city hopefully you may be able to find some records pertaining to him that might give some information on his family.
You could also try searching at:
www.familysearch.org has a huge database of genealogical records including some church records for Ireland.
www.rootsireland.ie have a large collection of Irish Church records, however you have to pay to use this site.
Have you looked for any record of the Rawsons in the land records pertaintin to Ireland in the 19th century? There are two:
