My gg-grandmother, Elizabeth Alward was born in Co. Carlow in May of 1921. Parish unknown. Names of parents and siblings (if any) unknown. Date of emmigration unknown. We DO know that she was a school teacher and ended up marrying Martin Timmons (Irish born, but Co. unknown). Place & date of marriage unknown, but most likely NY c. 1850. In the 1850s they settled in Cedar Lake township in Scott County, Minnesota.
