Hi,
Fanny Weir, B abt 1827 in the Townland of Lacken Lower, Parish of Ballintemple, County Cavan, married John Cowan from Townland of Legaginny. Fanny's parents were Thomas Weir and unknown.
Thomas Weir was born abt 1763 and died abt 1868.
I am looking for any information about the Weir family.
I don' see Lacken Lower on the list of Townlands. Why might that be?

I can't help with the Weir family but the spelling of the townland is Lackan Lower.
