My Great Grandfather, Thomas Patrick Coyle, was born to Patrick Coyle in the Ballymachugh Parish. He had 8 brothers and sisters. Thomas and 4 siblings emigrated to Phila. Pa in the 1870's.
If anyone knew the family, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Did Thomas have a brother Patrick who remained in Ireland? See this 1901 census record as a possible lead. The townland is Tawlaght.

Roger,
He had a brother, Patrick, who appears in the 1901 & 1920 census. Patrick also had a son Patrick who married an Eileen Grimes. I am thrilled to have found my Great Great Grandfather's information. I intend to visit the farm where they lived on my next Ireland trip.
I also have discovered that my Gr. Gr Grandfather, Thomas Clark, on my mother's side, also came from Cavan to the US. I have not located any site specific information on Thomas as of yet.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The earliest Michael Coyle baptismal record in Co. Cavan on Roots Ireland was in 1827. I also could not find a marriage record around 1835.
Have you considered autosomal DNA testing?
Let me know what questions you have.
