Ann Faircloth (Fairclough or Fairlough ?) was sent to NSW as an assisted immigrant in 1840. Her parents were Francis Faircloth and Mary Crawford, both dead by 1840. Her immigration papers stated she was from Ballyjamesduff - which is in Castlerahan civil parish, 20 years old, Protestant, a dairymaid, unable to read or write.

She married Edward Donaghy in Maitland NSW in 1853.

A possible sibling is Myrven Fairlough/Fairclough b 1825 who married a Sarah Henry at Bailiebrough, Cavan on 28 Jan 1848. Their fathers were given as Francis Fairlough and John Henry. Their marriage record shows Myrven from Durtamin which we take to be Drutamy, and Sarah from Graghadiff which we take to be Greaghduff. These hamlets are about a mile apart in Castlerahan.

Myrven and Sarah migrated to South Australia in 1848 with a young son John, but Sarah died at sea. Myrven subsequently married Ann Johns.
