He lived to be 65 - Died in 1954 in New York, United States - Buried in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, United States
He was married to Agnes Cunningham who I believe was from County Mayo. They met and married in New York and had three children. My mother Anna Mary was their oldest child.

Family in 1911 census. Owen is listed. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Cavan/Castlerahan/Rasuddan/349181/ Spelling of townland should be Rossudden and you will note that surname was shown as Gallegan.
Oldest son Andrew married in 1915 to a young lady from Ballyjamesduff, See second record
Anne died in December 1914 See fifth record husband Andrew was informant
I did not find a death record for Andrew Sr. or Laurence in the Oldcastle registration district.
