My name is Eileen Cooney (Brady)
Born in Bellsgrove Kilnaleck Co Cavan.
Im trying to trace my great great grandparents on the Connolly side, My grandmother was Rosanne Connolly who i believe was born in Lisany Co Cavan but cencus also show Omard1889 - 1942, her parents were Thomas Connolly 1853 - & Ellen McEnerny or McNereny, 1859 - 1944 so i am trying to find Thomas parents i have a Patt Connolly but i dont think that is correct. there were Connolly brothers who were priests some who emigrated to America one name ive got is Fr Peter Connolly 1851 - 1927 buried near Lisany.
I appreciate any information with this. e-mail address if needed all lower case

Thomas' father was shown as Patt. Family lived in Drumgore townland in Drumlumman civil parish. This parish is in southern Cavan on the Co. Longford border. Lisanny townkland is also in that parish.
By the 1901 census the family was living in Omard townland in Ballymachugh civil parish which is just to the east of Drumlumman parish.

I'm still looking for a baptismal record for Rose or a civil birth record. I did find a record for Peter.
see second record for civil birth record for Peter in 1881.
