Thomas LYNCH married to Ann DILLON (or Dineen) with daughter Brigid (born 1843) migrated to Australia, asa familyin 1844. Thomas;s parents names were Mick & Ann. Thomas was a farm laborer from Killinkere. My 2x great grandmother, Catherine, is their daughter born in Australia in 1850

I have had no luck in finding the either family in Ireland. They married in Ireland in abt 1839, from Thomas Lynch death cert hw was born in abt 1820. I know they are a Catholic family & Lynch is a common name in Co Cavan.

You could take out a day subscription to rootsireland.ie just to check once and for all what records are available for this family. I couldn't find a marriage record for them. There are some parish records for Cavan that begin in the 1820s and 1830s but many others do not begin until the 1860s or 1870s. It could be the case that the family baptisms and marriages happened in a parish and at time that predates parish records.
Have a look and see what you can find.
As you say there are a lot of that family name, though only around 15 listed in the county in the Tithes HERE
